Elko Speedway Fan Guide |
Alcohol:
Race fans that consume
alcohol are encouraged to drink responsibly. All alcohol sales
will require a picture ID as proof of age. You must be 21
years of age or older to consume/ purchase alcohol. Elko
Speedway may refuse to serve alcoholic beverages to any person
for any reason, including without limitations persons
appearing intoxicated. Elko Speedway may report any persons in
violation of the alcohol policy to the Elko Police if they
believe you are acting contrary to the law or in a manner
which may endanger yourself, others or their property.
ATM Location:
Elko Speedway has an ATM
machine for your convenience. The machine is located in the
Souvenir Stand.
Behavior Policy:
We want all
fans to have the best experience possible. Our image will be
shaped not only by our staff, drivers, teams, but by our fans
as well. Our goal is to ensure that every fan experiences the
high-energy environment of racing, and to create a safe and
supportive environment for participants while maintaining a
wholesome, family oriented atmosphere. To ensure that all fans
have a pleasant experience at our facility, each guest should
act responsibly and be considerate of others. Be a good sport.
Elko Speedway security personnel will respond to complaints of
misconduct. Fans who fail to comply with Elko Speedway policy
after being warned will be subject to ejection or
arrest.
Reserve Box Seating:
Reserve box
seats are available for purchase at the main ticket windows.
You MUST have a box seat ticket to seat in the reserve seating
area.
VIP Parking:
VIP parking is located
right outside the main entrance to the speedway. You MUST have
a parking pass to park in this area.
Motorcycle
Parking:
Motorcycle parking is located just east of the
main entrance to the speedway. The area is clearly
marked.
Coolers:
For the safety and comfort
of our fans, carry-in coolers of any kind are not
permitted.
Display Area:
Please visit our
vendor display area to sample and try all of the newest
innovations on the market
today.
Emergencies:
In the event of an
emergency please notify one of the speedway employees or
uniformed security officers in your area.
Handicapped and Disabled Accessible Parking &
Seating:
Parking for Handicapped and Disabled guests is
available. You must have a disabled parking pass issued by
your state displayed in your window to access this parking
area. Wheelchair grandstand access is located along front of
grandstands, clearly marked.
First Aid – Fan Care
Centers:
We have trained paramedics at the facility
that will be able to provide both Basic and Advanced life
support for both drivers and spectators.
Food &
Beverage Concessions:
For your convenience, we have
concession stands conveniently located in the facility to
serve all guests. All of your favorite food and beverage items
are available. No food or beverage will be permitted to be
brought into the facility, if found, it will be
confiscated.
Grandstand Rules:
Patrons caught
throwing any items will be immediately removed from the
property, with the possibility of being prosecuted under
Minnesota Law.
In reserved seating areas of the grandstand
please ensure that you are in your proper seat. If problems
should arise please notify the staff employee or security in
your area. In general admission areas please be respectful and
courteous to people around you. Please do not sit in
aisles/walk-ways.
Lost and Found:
Articles
found during an event will be turned into the lost and found
at the Souvenir Stand.
Lost Children:
Elko
Speedway personnel will escort children who become separated
from their families to the Souvenir Stand until their families
are located. Parents reporting or inquiring about lost
children should contact the nearest event staff employee or
one of the uniformed security guards in their
area.
Pets:
The only animals allowed in the
facility (except those which are part of an event) are guide
dogs to aid the visually impaired, signal dogs to aid the
hearing impaired and service dogs to aid the physically
disabled. Other animals will not be allowed through the gates.
All animals on speedway property MUST be kept on a 6-foot
chain and cannot be left unattended.
Prohibited
Items:
To ensure that all fans have a safe and
enjoyable visit to Elko Speedway, the following items will not
be permitted:
- Coolers
- Glass containers
- Weapons
- Beach balls
- Illegal drugs
- Fireworks
- Laser lights
- Alcoholic Beverages
- Other items that in the judgment of Elko Speedway
management pose a safety hazard or diminish the enjoyment of
an event by other patrons.
All carry-in bags, large
purses, blankets, sleeping bags, etc… are subject to search by
Elko Speedway security personnel prior to entering the
facility. Prohibited items or contraband that are discovered
during security inspections at the Speedway entrances must
either be returned to the owner’s vehicle or discarded.
Unlawful items that are discovered during security inspections
will be reported to the police. Any prohibited items
discovered inside the Elko Speedway will be confiscated.
Security:
Elko Speedway security personnel
will be stationed throughout the Speedway. Should you require
assistance, please notify the nearest event staff employee.
The appropriate person or agency will be dispatched to your
location to assist you.
Souvenirs:
Show off
your favorite NASCAR apparel, support your favorite local
drivers, or support Elko Speedway by purchasing Speedway and
racing souvenirs. Visit our souvenir stand located right
behind the grandstands.
Ticket Rain Outs-Weather Policy
Elko
Speedway management will make every effort to start and
complete each scheduled racing program. If Elko Speedway
management determine inclement weather may cause unsafe racing
conditions, the remaining races on the scheduled program will
be postponed or canceled with the following stipulations:
- The program will be considered complete (no rain checks)
if one-half of the scheduled events are run or one-half of
the main feature is completed.
- Some of the remaining events may be held on the next
available race date.
- In the event of rain, curfew or circumstances beyond the
control of Speedway management, the race may be considered
complete or continued at the discretion of the official in
charge.
- If the program is considered incomplete, ticket stubs
will be your rain checks for the designated rain date or one
of the following two NASCAR Weekly Racing Series presented
by Dodge events. SORRY, NO CASH REFUNDS.
